We use a new stick/spatula each time we dip into the wax pot, this ensures the highest level of hygiene throughout the entire clinic.

Pre:

LYCOTANE SKIN CLEANSER

With Jasmine and Chamomile this light, refreshing cleanser is used before all facial and body waxing to effectively remove surface oils, grime, perspiration, pollution, make-up and cream residue.

PRE-WAXING OIL

With Apricot kernel oil, Jasmine and Chamomile. Pre waxing oil sooths the skin prior to all waxing treatments and it prevents wax sticking to the skin, making waxing comfortable, clean and efficient. The oil forms a barrier between the wax and the skin and avoids pulling of the skin and reduces skin irritation.

Post:

PERFECT FINISH

This post-wax oil removes sticky wax residue after strip waxing, while soothing and moisturising the skin at the same time. A relaxing way to end a treatment with lavender, apricot and sweet almond.

Soothing Cream

This is a moisturising and extra conditioning cream which is Ideal to re-hydrate and soothe dry skin after hot and strip waxing - with Chamomile and Rose.

Aloe Vera Soothing Gel

Lycon’s freshly scented Aloe Vera Soothing Gel provides immediate and lasting hydration for the face and body.

FAQ

Does Lycon Wax hurt less?
You may feel a slight discomfort but this only lasts a few seconds. As we put oil on the skin first this prevents the wax from sticking to the skin and just attaches itself to the hair and removes it quickly and efficiently and with little or no irritation to the skin, we would go so far as to say it is almost painfree. Once you have been waxed the hair weakens, so each time you get longer lasting results. For best results return every 4-6 weeks for your waxing.

What should I wear?
Preferably loose clothing, and for Bikini waxing we provide a disposable brief for your comfort.

What should I do before my treatment?
Do not cut the  hair or remove the hair ,leave that to the experts,/ we will do as you need or as is required, and we will give you aftercare guidelines and after wax finishing oil.

What should I do after my treatment?
Avoid hot baths or hot showers ,steam room and saunas and of course sun and the sunbed. Avoid excessive heat for 24-48 Hours after to allow skin to cool down.
